My Planet is an immersive virtual simulation game where players assume control of a planet and endeavor to cultivate a flourishing and prosperous population. It can be likened to a digital pet or a Tamagotchi game on a grand scale. Assuming the role of a deity, players manipulate sunlight and rainfall to foster substantial population growth.
Intriguingly, My Planet operates in real-time, even when the application is closed. Therefore, players must regularly check in throughout the day to ensure their planet is functioning optimally. While the controls are accessible, mastery may require several weeks of dedicated play. Are you up to the challenge of surpassing the ultimate objective of nurturing a population exceeding one million individuals? Alternatively, will your civilization succumb to unbearable heat while its inhabitants endure immense suffering? The choice lies squarely with you!
The primary aim of My Planet is to cultivate a contented and thriving population. As long as your planet sustains a healthy level of vegetation (indicated by the green bar), your population will steadily increase. The proliferation rate depends on your vegetation levels; more vegetation yields faster population growth. Conversely, if vegetation levels drop too low, mass starvation will ensue and the population will commence declining.
Vegetation flourishes when it receives adequate sunlight and water. To foster optimal growth, it is crucial to maintain sun and water levels within the optimal range, which is indicated by both meters being 50% full. Excessive sunlight causes vegetation to wither and perish, leading to death among your population. Conversely, insufficient sunlight hampers vegetation growth, resulting in widespread famine affecting your people. The same concept applies to water; excessive amounts drown vegetation, and inadequate amounts cause drought conditions. Frequent monitoring is essential to ensure that your planet maintains the ideal balance of sun and water.
As an app developer, I am constantly seeking to enhance my creations. If you have any suggestions on how to make My Planet a more exceptional experience, please do not hesitate to inform me. I am committed to updating and improving the game, so please share your ideas about potential future enhancements! Remember, this app is designed with you, the users, in mind!
