While the controls are accessible, mastery may require several weeks of dedicated play. Alternatively, will your civilization succumb to unbearable heat while its inhabitants endure immense suffering? The choice lies squarely with you!
The primary aim of My Planet is to cultivate a contented and thriving population. As long as your planet sustains a healthy level of vegetation (indicated by the green bar), your population will steadily increase. The proliferation rate depends on your vegetation levels; more vegetation yields faster population growth. Conversely, if vegetation levels drop too low, mass starvation will ensue and the population will commence declining.
Vegetation flourishes when it receives adequate sunlight and water. To foster optimal growth, it is crucial to maintain sun and water levels within the optimal range, which is indicated by both meters being 50% full. Excessive sunlight causes vegetation to wither and perish, leading to death among your population. Conversely, insufficient sunlight hampers vegetation growth, resulting in widespread famine affecting your people. The same concept applies to water; excessive amounts drown vegetation, and inadequate amounts cause drought conditions. Frequent monitoring is essential to ensure that your planet maintains the ideal balance of sun and water.
